The Rockets won Game 5 in Houston on Wednesday night, beating the Warriors 113-103 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

The Rockets, who were without starting point guard Jeremy Lin (hamstring), scored 23 points in the first half, led by rookie big man Aaron Brooks with 19 points.

Jeremy Lin scored 20 points in Game 4 of the series to lead the Rockets to a 121-117 win over the Warriors.

The Rockets lost Game 4 in Cleveland 114-101.

The series was tied at 2-2 before the Rockets pulled away late in the fourth quarter to win the series.

Game 5 is set for Sunday in Oakland.
